  • Today was a nice, easy day... the perfect day to relax after the stressful last week... Woke up at 845, a full 25 minutes before my alarm went off... went to the last senior chapel of all time... it was completely HORRIBLE...it started 10 minutes late, we sang 1 song, and then for the next 15 minutes we sat there while 5 different people tried to get a short video clip to work... then the chaplain spoke for like 10 minutes, about who knows what, and then we got out 15 minutes early...

Studied some this afternoon, then went to class... found out I have a B in Personal Finance, which makes me happy... Took a nap for like two hours, which made me even more happy...

Headed to Columbus with Sarah, got some dinner in Easton, and then went to one of her friend's senior projects, which was a compilation of 5 films that he has written and dirrected. After that we drove back, and went to Beavercreek for some bowling... and this time I was victorious... We ate some strawberry shortcake in the car that we got at the restaurant... and then we drove back to school, stopping to get some gas... it cost $43 to fill up my tank... def. not the highlight of the evening, but whatever... Got back to school, and somehow mananged to get the very last parking spot in lawlor, a miracle for 12:45 at night...

Now I think I'm gonna head to bed... mmk, night

  • Last night I started my paper marathon... today, at 4PM, as I was handing in 34 pages of pure genius, it struck me that I was one step closer to graduating... and then the rest of my life... It was kinda surreal thinking about...

I came back to my room and chilled for a little while, took a shower...

Then tonight SCAB went out for one last dinner... we had a great time... thinking back over all he fun stuff we've done, all the things that have changed at Cedarville in the last year...

All in all, this has been one of the greatest years of my life... I've made some good friends this year... Its funny how you are just getting the hang of school, and then its time to move on... I finally know that you should never go to Pastor Rohm chapel... that Chuck's was an acceptable evil... that there are some rules that RA's will let you get away with, and others that there is no way that you can pull off... that ya gotta get out there and take a chance and have some fun... that you have to do all the things you want to do, and do them now... if you put them off for another year, you'll end up graduating and never have done the things you wanted to do... there is so much that I know now that I wish I knew freshman year... I wish I would have known which friends I would be close to in the end, and would have spent more time with them... college is about two things: learning and friends... Its the people you spend time with that make college amazing...

There are so many relationships that I've messed up over the last four years, people that I've hurt, friends that I'm not longer close to... things I wish I would have had the courage to just do, instead of wimping out and taking the easy road... If there is any advice I can pass on to the underclassmen reading this it would be this: Sleep is more important that you think, eat when you have to, do homework ahead of time, but most of all... LIVE. Play in the rain, have snowball fights, trust your friends with your thoughts and feelings, experience as much as you can, don't settle for who you are now, but aim for who you want to be in 10 years... if you don't start trying to be that person today, it will never happen... Don't put off till tomorrow, what could be done today... Find time everyday to spend with your closest friends, even if it is inconvenient for you... a lot can happen in a day... you have 24 hours in a day. No more. No less... use those hours wisely...

I'm probably gonna have a lot more of these sentimental posts in the next 15 days (holy crap, 15 days!!)... But live with it...

  • I finished my paper last finally... in a little while I'm goin out with SCAB for one last fling... should be a blast!!!

  • So I sat on a chocolate covered peanut for over an hour last night... when I stood up, all that was left was a peanut and a brown stain on my pants and on the chair... ahh fun times...

Brent went off and got himself engaged on Saturday night Good job buddy... He's also coming to school this weekend, so hopefully I'll get to hang out with him some...

Been able to get some work done this weekend... Hung out with Josh yesterday... we took the tires off the left side of my car to clean them... but then it looked like it was about to rain, so we never got around to cleaning the right side... I think I'm gonna do that today...

Did my laundry, cleaned the room, and did some packing... All-in-all its been a very productive weekend... Also gotten a good deal of work done on my papers...

  • Honestly didn't do much today... washed my car and Megan's car... going bowling in a little while with everyone that is still in the brother/sister units....

April 14, 2006

  • Its been a LONG day... Woke up at 430AM to the CRAZIEST thunderstorm I have ever seen!! It lasted for about 20 minutes, but it was still pouring down rain when I had to walk out the parking lot behind the SSC to get the car to drive to the airport... I was just starting to get dry when I finally got back from the run.... grrr The drive itself wasn't too bad, just a lot of rain to drive through...

Finally got up again at 945... hung around with Jeff and Anthony for the morning... we hit up Churcks for lunch with Andrew and Colleen...

Studied with Megan for about 2 hrs, got about 1/2 of one of my papers done, which pleases me...

Came back to my room for a little while, took a shower, get dressed, then Megan and I headed over to Beavercreak to a Indian restaurant that she discovered... The food was pretty darn good, and it wasn't that expensive either... After dinner we went to Meijer to get some water and stuff... I got Megan an Orchid that I saw, which she decided was the prettiest flower she had ever seen...

Stopped by Panera after that and got some food for breakfast tomorrow... then we headed over to the mall to get my Tux for JS... came back to school after that, drove through another horrible thunderstorm, and now I'm relaxin and watchin a movie... gonna go to bed sometime soon... still kinda tired from today...

  • And the game has begun... this summer's goal, a complete shut out...
    So far, the score is:
    Nathan: 1
    Bees: 0
    Off to a great start!!

Made one run to the airport today... have another one at 5AM tomorrow, but I get paid double for that one... so I'm not complaining

Realized today that I don't have any classes until next Wednesday...

It was funny watching everyone leave school today... its gonna be even worse come May 6th...

Only 22 days till we graduate...
